Purchase of Products and Returns Policy
By using the Purchase Services to acquire any product through the SpaceTek website, you are agreeing to pay the purchase price listed for the product (the 'Purchase Price'). Payment of the Purchase Price may be made via Shopify Payments or through any direct funds transfer system (collectively, the 'Payment Gateway Provider').
By utilising these Purchase Services, you warrant that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the applicable Terms and Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy, and any other relevant legal documentation of the Payment Gateway Providers.
Once payment of the Purchase Price is confirmed by SpaceTek Group Pty Ltd, you will be issued a receipt to verify the payment, and SpaceTek may store your purchase information for future reference.
Change of Mind Before Dispatch
If you change your mind before the product has been dispatched, a full refund including shipping costs will be provided for purchases made via Shopify Payments, less a 2% card processing fee. This fee is non-refundable as it covers the transaction processing costs that Spacetek Group Pty Ltd incurs, regardless of whether the order is completed.
Change of Mind Returns
Spacetek Group Pty Ltd may, at its sole discretion, may offer a store credit for the return of products, provided that such returns are made within thirty (30) days of delivery, and only if the product is unmodified, and remains in a saleable condition. Store credits, where offered, may only be redeemed towards products. No cash refunds will be provided under this change of mind policy.
We may also deduct a 20% restocking fee to a maximum of $100 if the product returned requires testing and repacking for resale.
To initiate a return, please contact us at online@spacetek.com.au. If your return is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send the product at your expense. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted. For any questions regarding returns, feel free to reach out to us at the same email address.
Claims of Faulty or Defective Products
In the event that a product is claimed to be faulty or defective, the product must be returned to Spacetek Group Pty Ltd at the buyer's own cost for testing and evaluation within 12 months of proof of purchase. The buyer is expected to cooperate with Spacetek Group Pty Ltd to work towards a solution. If the buyer is unwilling to accept a replacement product, a store credit may be offered at Spacetek Group Pty Ltd's sole discretion. No store credit will be issued until such time as the product has been returned and assessed by Spacetek Group Pty Ltd.
If the product is found to be faulty, the buyer's cost of return shipping will be credited upon receiving the shipping receipt. In some cases, Spacetek Group Pty Ltd may offer a replacement or store credit without requiring the return of the faulty product if the evidence supplied by the buyer is deemed satisfactory by Spacetek Group Pty Ltd.
Return Shipping Costs
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all postage and shipping costs associated with the return of any product, including any costs incurred for shipping the product to the supplier, where applicable. Shipping charges are non-refundable under all circumstances, except in cases where the product is found to be faulty after assessment by Spacetek Group Pty Ltd.
