Expand the connectivity of your Starlink system with this low powered, plug & play ethernet switch. 

The D-Link DGS-105 is a 5-port unmanaged Gigabit desktop switch for expanding wired Ethernet connectivity from a Starlink router or Ethernet adapter (for Gen 2 router). It is suited to home networks, home offices, caravans and RV setups where multiple wired devices need stable LAN access. 

The DGS-105 uses a metal housing, fanless operation, plug-and-play setup, five 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, QoS support and IEEE 802.3az energy-efficient Ethernet. It is low power, and low form factor allowing you to mount it on a wall, cabinet or other discreet locations. The switch can also be powered by 12v systems with an input of 5V / 1 AMP (adaptor not included)

Installation Overview

1. Place the switch on a stable, dry and ventilated surface or alternatively you can wall mount it with the supplied fasteners. 
2. Connect the supplied power adapter to the switch.
3. Connect one Ethernet cable from the Starlink router or Starlink Ethernet adapter to any switch port.
4. Connect further wired devices to the remaining Gigabit Ethernet ports.
5. Confirm link status using the front LED indicators (Green).
6. Secure cables with strain relief where installed in caravans, cabinets or equipment bays.

Important Notes

⚠️ This switch is not weatherproof. Install only in a dry, protected location.

⚠️ Follow electrical safety and local regulations when routing Ethernet and power cables.

⚠️ Starlink Ethernet adapter will be required for Starlink Gen 2 Routers.
