For most customers who wanted the Router Mini to improve Wi-Fi coverage, a current Wi-Fi 6 mesh system is the better pathway. It gives broader coverage options, easier expansion and current product availability, while still working as part of a practical Starlink networking setup.
When You Need a Genuine Starlink Router Instead
If your goal is replacing a failed or missing Starlink Gen 2 router, choose the genuine Starlink Gen 2 Router UTR-211. That is a different use case from improving Wi-Fi range with a mesh system.
Starlink Networking Pathway
- Coverage problem: choose a Wi-Fi mesh system.
- Gen 2 router replacement: choose the genuine UTR-211 router.
- Wired network connection: add the Starlink Gen 2 Ethernet Adapter.
- More Ethernet ports: add a small gigabit switch after the router or adapter.
